A simple WordPress starter theme developed on top of the Twenty Twenty. I started this theme development around March 2022 for personal use only and I left it incomplete. On September 2023, I finally polished it and published on GitHub. And it’s the theme that powers this site.
A totally revamped checkout page for WPForms and WP Mail SMTP marketing sites focusing on increasing conversions. This is a customization of the EDD plugin checkout page (Easy Digital Downloads) and it had some challenges due to a rigid structure and a lack of WP hooks on version 2.x of the plugin. With it, I also developed the White Glove Setup single-service selling, which required sensitive changes in the checkout process that, at that point, covered only subscription selling.
Pedale Como Marina is a Brazilian non-governmental organization that fights for traffic safety and justice for cyclists and families who have lost someone in a traffic accident.
The site was made using the first version of my WordPress DevStarter Theme based on the Twenty Twenty theme and following the branding and logo as a reference for the layout. Besides the pages and forms powered by WPForms, it has an online memorial of the victims, made with a CPT with ACF fields and a mansory layout implemented from scratch with pure CSS (a flex box on a horizontal flow).
The WPForms plugin was launched in March 2016 by Jared Atchison. Since then, the plugin has crossed many milestones reaching more than 150M downloads and 6M active sites this year. The company needed a page to highlight these milestones and, after Matt Brett designed it, I completely implemented it from scratch.
It is an archive page of a CPT, in which I had implemented a live preview in a metabox on the classic editor. I’ve also implemented an AJAX loading on scrolling and the animation is powered by the amazing Animate.css triggered by the JavaScript Intersection Observer API.
Templates API and form template site developed for the WPForms WordPress plugin.
Both the site and the API were made with WordPress and they are tied to each other. To create a form template, the content team uses the WPForms plugin itself, which creates the form template post on the site and also exports the fields and settings through its hooks to power the API. Considering the plugin has more than 5 million active installs, I designed this API to handle millions of requests every day and it’s running smoothly since it was released, in late 2021.
Rainmail is a complete email marketing service built into the Rainmaker Platform. It was powered by Feedblitz and I was requested to create a brand new solution from the ground up, which I did in a few months using the Sendgrid API.
Instamission was a photo contest profile on Instagram made by Contente.vc. During some years, they ran hundreds of missions, many of them sponsored by famous brands, and they needed a system to retrieve metrics from the Instagram API for each mission. All the data was used to help them to manage the contests and also to show to the sponsors the return on their investiments.
I was hired as a freelance to create the system and I made it using MOJ, the slim PHP MVC Framework I had created a year before, and integrating it with the retired Instagram REST API.
Murilo Alambert is a business strategy college teacher at FGV, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I created this site in partnership with CapellaWeb. They provided the layout and I implemented the site, including the admin area using MOJ, the slim PHP MVC Framework I had created a year before.
DBB is one of the most acknowledged Brazilian translation courses. They needed a modern website to bring their long-term offline reputation since the 70s for those looking for a translation course online. I implemented this site with MOJ, the slim PHP MVC framework I created from scratch, and Bootstrap.
Printgram was the first Instagram photo printing service by hashtag created by Bruno Bezerra in 2012. His company, NoFlagra, sold the service for thousands of events, parties, workshops, and congresses mostly in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.
I developed the system to fetch the photos from Instagram API and apply photo-branded templates, nicknames, and other metadata, to finally send the photos to a printer.
Primos was a pop-rock Brazilian band that played between 1998 and 2008. The peak of their career happened from 2004 to 2006 and they required a very creative site. Using Adobe Flash, which was the cutting edge in 2004 and allowed us to easily make animations, I created everything from scratch. The concept, the design, and all the programming in ActionScript were carefully made to be really different and cool.
